EDS 102 Characteristics and Management of Career Technical Education
Course Description:
Demonstrates how to design motivating instruction that builds self-esteem, maintains on-task behavior, and promotes learning among students at different developmental levels and varying abilities. Examines stages of development of the career technical education learner and methods of maintaining student discipline using strategies that are free of bias and promote learning among diverse students.

Louise Stymeist, M.S., has been involved in career and technical education for more than 15 years. She is an experienced classroom teacher, program administrator and small business owner. Working in public education has intensified her passion for powerful teaching, curriculum development, standards integration, project-based learning, and program development. She is currently the ROP coordinator for the Sacramento City Unified School District.
