Course Description:
This two-day workshop provides an introduction to services contracting for new contract analysts, buyers, and program staff. The workshop concentrates on the State Contracting Manual (SCM), and focuses on services contracts – consulting services, legal services and personal services. An overview of Architectural & Engineering, Public Works, non-IT goods and IT goods and services are discussed to differentiate and understand the various contracting types. Upon completion of this session, participants will:· Understand the fundamentals of non-IT services contracts. · Understand how to use the State Contracting Manual.
