NURS 101 Nursing Care of Adults - TheoryCourse Description:
Introduction and application of the nursing process in meeting the health needs of adult individuals who are experiencing mild to moderate stress as a result of acute and/or chronic health problems. The role of nurse assessment, planning outcome/goals, implementing, and evaluating response to treatment will be applied in the clinical setting. Prerequisite: NURS 11, NURS 14, NURS 15, NURS 16. Corequisite: NURS 102. Eligibility: Student must complete NURS 11, NURS 14, NURS 15, NURS 16 with a minimum "C-" grade or better and be coenrolled in NURS 102 to enroll in this course.
