Train-the-Trainer Certificate Program

In today's fast-paced, technology-driven market, a highly skilled and well-educated workforce is vital to an organization's economic survival. To meet this need, the field of training and development is growing in the United States at a staggering rate. In addition to this increase in training volume, there is a growing trend toward shifting training responsibilities from professional trainers to non-trainers, such as managers, team leaders and technical workers. The Train the Trainer Certificate Program provides the necessary knowledge and skill foundation to deliver effective training that transfers smoothly to the work environment. It also provides training professionals with opportunities to enhance training skills, expand professional networks, and develop additional competencies.

The Train-the-Trainer program enables participants to:

  • Develop core knowledge, skills, and competencies in the training and development field
  • Apply specific tools for training needs assessment, curriculum design, delivery, and evaluation
  • Establish standards for workplace education and models for the transfer of learning

These courses are designed for:

  • workers preparing to enter the training and development field
  • practicing training professionals who wish to enhance their skills
  • managers, supervisors, or staff professionals with training and development responsibilities
  • non-trainers assigned a role in an internal training program.
