Off Campus Special Education Credential and Master's

This program is closed to new applicants and will end Spring 2014.

Although we will no longer offer these courses in the Bay Area as of Spring 2014, our main campus still offers credentialing courses through the College of Education's Department of Special Education, Rehabilitation, and School Psychology. The programs offered include:

  • preliminary (Level I) specialist credentials for mild/moderate and moderate/severe disability areas
  • master's of education with an emphasis in Special Education

Participants may enroll in each of the prerequisite courses and no more than six required units prior to admission to the credential program. Coursework may transfer from other universities with advisor approval.

Additional information about credential and degree requirements is available at the College of Education site.
