July 15 - 19, 2013 Workshops

Advanced Placement Program* Summer Institute workshops provide an opportunity for teachers to enhance their AP* curriculum, understand the AP* exam structures and develop strategies for teaching both content and analytical skills.

The Pre-AP* Program is based on the belief that all students can perform at rigorous academic levels and be prepared to engage in a higher level of learning. Ideally, schools or school districts will send teams of teachers from grade levels 6 - 12.

Fees

Fees include workshop, course materials, breakfast (M-F), lunch (M-TH) and parking for the week.

$745 per person for early registrations received by June 1, 2013. Registrations received after June 1 will be $785 per person. For AP* Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Physics and Studio Art, a $50 lab fee also applies.

Advanced Placement Program* Summer Institute Workshops:

Each AP* workshop is approved for two semester units of academic credit. The unit fee is an additional $130 and is payable at the first class meeting.
Pre-AP* subjects are approved for three CEUs; an additional fee of $65 applies.
