CPSP Provider Overview Online Training
The training will address the program requirements for implementing a Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program (CPSP). The training will present an overview of CPSP and review the requirements for the client orientation, assessments and the individualized care plan. This training is for providers and staff new to CPSP and those who are interested in becoming CPSP providers. Billing will not be covered in this training; however billing resources will be available. The registration fee includes the cost of one electronic Provider Overview Handbook.
CONTINUING EDUCATION HOURS (CEHs)
This Enduring Material activity, CPSP Provider Overview Online Training has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 5 Elective credits by the American Academy of Family Physicians. AAFP accreditation begins November 1, 2011. Term of approval is for one year from this date. Each online module is approved for 1 Elective credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed, not as Category 1.
