Registration Information
Register early! Participation in the Design Senior Seminar is limited. Seminar registration includes two morning
beverage breaks, two lunches, two afternoon refreshment breaks, one dinner and all seminar materials.
Important Reminder
Dinner is an extension of the official program day and attendee participation is mandatory.
Reimbursement
Caltrans, Division of Design will reimburse Travel and per diem expenses in accordance to the Travel policy (http://www.dot.ca.gov/hq/asc/travel). Attendees who are able to carpool are requested to do so; car rental fees will not be reimbursed. The use of personal cars is discouraged.

Overnight Accommodations
If you are on travel status you should make reservations at the Doubletree Hotel who is offering a discounted
group rate of $84 single and $99 double occupancy, plus taxes until July 3, 2007. To assist us in avoiding
contractual penalties, please ensure to make your lodging reservation under the group name of “Caltrans
Design Senior Seminar”. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING YOUR OWN RESERVATIONS. ALL
RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE PRIOR TO JULY 3, 2007, BY CALLING (916) 929-8855 OR
(800) 222-TREE. Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and check out time is at 12:00 noon the day of
departure. Please be assured that the Doubletree Hotel will make every effort to accommodate those guests who
arrive prior to check in time.
Parking:
Parking at the Doubletree Hotel is complimentary.
Shuttle Transportation
There is no courtesy shuttle available to or from the Doubletree Hotel. SuperShuttle is the exclusive provider of
on-call van service at Sacramento International Airport. The costs from the airport to downtown
are approximately:
- Shared Van: $13 for the first person and $8 for each additional person
- Private Van: $45 for up to seven people
Reservations are not required for the trip from the airport to the hotel unless you need a handicapped accessible van. Reservations are required for transportation from the hotel to the airport. To make a SuperShuttle reservation, call (800) 258-3826. Prices are subject to change without notice.
