Hotel Reservations
Hotel rates are $110 for single/double occupancy. The San Diego Marriott Hotel and Marina has graciously extended the special Summit rate from November 23 - 28, 2007, for those participants who would like to enjoy San Diego on an extended stay. Hotel room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes in effect at time of check-in. All hotel reservations are made directly with the San Diego Marriott Hotel and Marina at (619) 234-1500 or (800) 228-9290. Please mention that you are attending the CalWORKs Partnerships Summit. Reservations may also be made online by visiting www.marriott.com and entering the code “caw”. Rates are guaranteed if a reservation is made by November 5, AND if space is still available at the CalWORKs rate. It is a good idea to make your hotel reservations early. If the San Diego Marriott Hotel and Marina sells out before November 5, you are not guaranteed a hotel room. The rate may be adjusted based on the official state per diem rate in effect over the dates of the conference. Although a change in the state per diem rate is not expected, the prevailing state rate at the time of the Summit will apply.
Hotel Parking
Self-Parking: $20 per day
Overnight Guests: $20 per day (with unlimited in and out privileges)
Valet Parking: $26 per day
Airport Shuttle
The San Diego Marriott Hotel and Marina suggests utilizing the taxi service (approximately $12-$14 one way) or the Shuttle Express service (approximately $6 per person one way).
Registration Fee
Registration fees include summit materials, general sessions, concurrent breakouts, continuing education units, continental breakfasts, daily breaks, and two hosted lunches.
