The California Council for History Education (CCHE) is pleased to open registration for our 8th Annual Conference October 25-26, 2013 at The California Museum in downtown Sacramento. This year we are celebrating CCHE’s new home at Sacramento State. We invite you to join us and take advantage of the many rich historical resources available in California’s capital city.
At the conference historians, archivists, and others will share their deep content expertise and master teachers will offer classroom-tested lessons. Workshops with state leaders in history education will offer Common Core professional development that presents the latest curricular, instructional and assessment strategies and teaching tools.
This year the conference includes special workshops at The California Museum, the California State Archives, the Crocker Art Museum, and the Center for Sacramento History.
