Governor Schwarzenegger has directed the Department of Mental Health (DMH) to develop a California Strategic Plan for Suicide Prevention by May 1, 2008.
The purpose of these public workshops is to obtain your feedback and input on the draft recommendations for the plan. The draft plan is based on suggestions received during the Prevention and Early Intervention Stakeholder Workshops in April 2007 and recommendations of a Suicide Prevention Plan Advisory Committee.
