Purpose:
The purpose of this Forum is to strengthen capacity and collaboration among Violence Against Women (VAW) and Teen Dating Violence (TDV) prevention advocates for program and policy development.
Who Should Attend:
This Forum is for those who are currently implementing or engaged in local or statewide VAW or TDV primary prevention programs.
Forum Goals:
• Highlight lessons learned from VAW and TDV prevention efforts to date.
• Provide examples of emerging and promising practices.
• Broaden approaches to engage new partners, including youth and men.
• Articulate challenges and opportunities in advancing and broadening the prevention agenda.
Youth Track:
A special youth track has been designed for youth currently involved in local prevention efforts, and will include skill building and networking sessions facilitated by youth leaders from around the state. Limited space is available; however, every effort will be made to include youth from as many programs as possible.
