Invitees

 

Invited participants include staff from Bay Area jurisdictions that are involved with the enforcement of local tobacco retailer licensing laws or other laws prohibiting the sale of tobacco products to minors. Other invitees include regional representatives from the California Attorney General’s Office, Tobacco Litigation and Enforcement Unit; the California Board of Equalization; and the California Department of Public Health, Food and Drug Branch.

 

Attendance is limited to 50 in order to allow for optimal information sharing and discussion.  Up to three staff per jurisdiction may register.

 

Since a diverse mix of participants is desired, we are inviting those who:

 

  • administer the retailer licensing program
  • conduct inspections, and/or
  • adjudicate violations
