The 35th Annual Training Conference
Dear Members and Friends:
Welcome to the California State Foster Parent Association (CSFPA) 35th Annual Training Conference. We hope that you will choose and enjoy the workshops offered to you. Our planning committee has carefully selected speakers with knowledge that will assist us with the children that we care for. So please use this time to absorb, refresh and regroup, and enjoy the conference.
Our conference theme this year is, “When You Believe, You Can Succeed!” As Caregivers, we believe in what we do and our goal is to pass that belief to our youth. They may not always believe it’s what they need, but we must always encourage them to want to succeed.
The CSFPA would like to express a special thank you to the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) and its staff, Lyn Stueve and Dayna Haldeman; and Casey Family Programs and its staff, Taura Greenfield and Stacie Buchanan, for their hard work and assistance in making this conference a reality. This is an excellent example of the teamwork that is occurring in support for our children.
