Parent Leadership Conference 2007, January 30, Hilton Sacramento Arden West

The California Department of Social Services, Office of Child Abuse Prevention along with the County Welfare Directors Association of California invite you to attend a one-day Parent Leadership Conference. This will be an opportunity for parents and members of both the public and private sector to join together to build partnerships to strengthen children and family services programs throughout California.

This Conference is scheduled to be held on Tuesday,
January 30, 2007 at the Hilton Sacramento Arden West.
Key participants include administrators, supervisors and line staff who provide services to families and children; advocates; parents; social workers; and those who are interested in effective parent engagement, mentoring and leadership roles.

Conference highlights include keynote speaker, Elaine Zimmerman, Executive Director of the Connecticut Commission on Children and a variety of workshops focused on parent engagement, involvement and leadership.
