The Summit's Program
This year’s Summit theme, Working Together: We Achieve Our Success, reflects the reality that all segments involved in refugee resettlement – the refugee community, providers of services to refugees, and the community-at-large – seek a common goal: Success! In accordance with the theme, the Summit will feature a program of dynamic speakers and workshops on strategies that foster success through economic independence and long-term self-sufficiency. As you will see from the tentative agenda, the Summit will offer a variety of sessions which provide new perspectives on diverse topics, such as refugee employment services, education, mental health, community organizing, grant writing strategies, developing relationships with funding organizations, etc. The Summit will also present pertinent and valuable information on services to torture survivors and human trafficking victims. This event offers a unique opportunity for attendees to actively participate and network with other stakeholders involved in refugee resettlement.
