The Census Bureau will conduct a 90-minute Complete Count Committee workshop after the morning session. This workshop will cover how an energized Complete Count Committee can make a major impact on the results of Census 2010.

 

Topics include: How to jumpstart your local community’s participation in Census 2010 by forming, joining or participating in a volunteer Complete Count Committee; components of a successful action plan; low cost and no cost activities and how the USCB can help you get started.

 

For groups that want to organize and create their own Complete Count Committee, the US Census may be able to provide training and support. 

 

It is our hope that you will find common strategies with other members of your community after attending a regional convening.  When you do, creating a Complete Count Committee and organizing your efforts are the next steps.  While you will understand the uniqueness of your community, the US Census understands particular strategies and best practices that might adapt well to your community.
