How to Register...

There are two ways for attendees to register:

The conference registration fee is $295 (on or before January 5, 2007), and $365 (after January 5). Conference registration includes one reception, one full breakfast, two continental breakfasts, and all conference materials.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be received in writing by January 5, 2007, and are subject to a $50 fee. After January 5, substitutions will be accepted, but refunds will not be provided. No-shows will be billed the full registration fee.

Hotel Accommodations

Room rates at the Anaheim Marriott are $110 single/double occupancy plus tax.or $130 for triple/quad occupancy. For overnight accommodations, call the hotel directly at (714) 750-8000 or (800) 228-9290. Please mention that you are attending the 2007 Childhood Obesity Conference to receive group rates. After January 5, 2007, overnight accommodations are based on availability at the prevailing rate.

Overflow Hotel

Overflow rooms have been secured at the Anaheim Hilton located across the way from the host hotel/conference location.  Room rates at the Anaheim Hilton are $110.00  for single/double occupancy plus tax.  For overnight accommodations, call the hotel directly at (800) 222-9923.  You will also need to mention that you are booking a reservation for the Obesity Conference (SRP Code:  OBC) to receive the special rate.  Rooms will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at the prevailing hotel room rate.

CEUs

Pending approval, the College of Continuing Education at California State University, Sacramento, will be offering continuing education units (CEUs) for the following disciplines/licensing boards:

  • California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN)
  • Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES)
  • Continuing Medical Education (CME)
  • Registered Dietitians (RD)
  • California Board of Behavioral Sciences:
    • Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) and/or
    • Marriage and Family Therapists (MFT)

Exhibitors

Exhibitor registration is $370 (Non-Profit) and $500 (Commercial), and includes admittance of one person to staff your exhibit, nametag, one
6’ table, one chair, signage, and all conference materials. All additional exhibit staff must pay an attendee registration fee of $295 (on or before January 5, 2007) or $365 (after January 5, 2007). A $50 charge will be made for electrical access.   Requests must be in advance and noted on the registration form. On-site electrical access requests will not be accommodated.

Poster presenter

Poster presenter registration is $295 (deadline: December 1, 2006) and includes admittance of one person to present your poster, nametag, one poster board, signage, and all conference materials. Each additional poster presenter must pay an attendee registration fee to obtain conference materials, and to participate in conference sessions. Poster boards will be provided.
