Registration Fee
The registration fee is $156 for CIWMB Staff (CIWMB Staff registration fees will be invoiced directly to the CIWMB) and $156.00 for Zone Administrators (Zone Administrators will have their registration fee paid for from their ZIF account.). Note: If you are a ZA and would like to use your ZIF monies to pay for a guest from your Zone to attend the workshop, prior approval must be obtained from Marshalle Graham. Please contact Marshalle at mgraham@ciwmb.ca.gov or 916-341-6270 for more information.
Note: The two-day training workshop registration includes workshop training sessions, lunch, an early evening Networking Reception on Thursday, as well as a hot breakfast on Friday morning (for ZAs and southern California CIWMB Staff).
Hotel Reservations
CSUS is pleased to make lodging reservations for both Zone Administrators and CIWMB Staff (Southern California staff only).
Zone Administrators: Zone Administrators interested in staying at the Sheraton Grand Sacramento Hotel should complete the Lodging section of the on-line registration form, and enter the specific check-in/check-out dates. CSUS will make reservations per the dates provided. For example, if June 25th is indicated as the check-in date; and June 26th as the check-out date, CSUS will reserve a room at the Sheraton Grand in Sacramento, for Thursday night only.
IMPORTANT: CSUS will directly invoice each applicable attending ZA’s ZIF account for one night’s lodging only (Thursday, June 25), but will make reservations for whatever is requested in the Lodging field of the registration form. Zone Administrators requesting additional night(s) lodging will be required to make payment for the additional night(s) upon check-out of the hotel. The negotiated rate at the hotel is $84, plus all applicable taxes.
Those who plan on arriving at the hotel on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 are responsible for paying their own lodging, dinner, and any other expenses associated with that night’s stay at the hotel, unless prior approval is received. All accommodation/lodging requests must be submitted to CSUS by May 25, 2009.
CIWMB Staff: CSUS is pleased to make CIWMB Staff lodging reservations (Southern California staff only). CIWMB Staff will be responsible for making full payment to the hotel upon check-out. For assistance with lodging arrangements, CIWMB Staff should complete the Lodging section of the on-line registration form, and enter specific check-in/check-out dates.
IMPORTANT: CSUS will make reservations for CIWMB Staff, but will not pay for any lodging expenses. You will be responsible for payment upon check-out of the hotel.

Travel Arrangements (Zone Administrators Only)
Zone Administrators: Zone Administrators who require assistance with airline arrangements need to complete the Airline section of the registration form. Zone Administrators who utilize CSUS’ assistance for airline travel will have the cost directly invoiced to the applicable ZA’a Zone Incentive Fund (ZIF) account.
All travel requests must be submitted to CSUS by May 25, 2009.
CIWMB Staff: CIWMB Staff are responsible for making their own travel arrangements. CSUS will not provide travel assistance or per diem reimbursement to CIWMB Staff attending the “Zone Works” training.
REIMBURSABLE EXPENSES
Zone Administrators: Mileage, rental car, parking, and airport shuttle are considered reimbursable expenses and will be reimbursed through your ZIF Fund after the workshop has ended. A reimbursement packet will be provided to attendees at the workshop. Please note, CIWMB will reimburse your travel expenses according to the General Service Administration (GSA) and the Department of Personal Administration (DPA) regulations. CIWMB Staff: CSUS will not make travel arrangements for CIWMB staff or provide per diem reimbursement to CIWMB Staff attending the “Zone Works” training.
“ZONE WORKS” CONFIRMATION
A confirmation letter will be e-mailed to all registrants who have submitted a completed registration form and payment by May 25, 2009. The letter will include directions and a map to the hotel.

Hotel PARKING
The Sheraton Grand Sacramento is providing self-parking at a discounted rate of $12.00 per day for attendees of the workshop (Regular rate is $18.00).
AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION
SuperShuttle is the exclusive provider of on-call van service at Sacramento International Airport. The costs from the airport to Sheraton Grand Sacramento are approximately:
- Shared Van: $13 per person.
- Private Van: $50 for up to seven people.
Reservations are not required for the trip from the airport to the hotel unless you need a handicapped accessible van. When arriving at the Sacramento International Airport please proceed to the Transportation counter located in the baggage claim area to connect with a Super Shuttle representative. Driving Directions
From Reno (East)
Take Interstate 80 West to I-5 South towards Sacramento. Take the J Street Exit, follow J Street, and the hotel will be located on the right side of J Street.
From San Francisco (West)
Take I-80 East to U.S. 50 East. Take the I-5 North Exit towards Redding. Exit onto J Street. Proceed on J Street, and the hotel will be located on the right.
From Sacramento International Airport
Take Interstate 5 South to Sacramento and exit at J Street. Proceed on J Street, and the hotel will be located on the right-hand side between 12th and 13th Streets.
From South
Travel north on I-5 and exit at J Street. Proceed on J Street, and the hotel will be located on the right-hand side between 12th and 13th Streets.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations received in writing by May 25, 2009 are subject to a $25 fee (Note: this is not reimbursable using ZIF funds!). After that date, substitutions will be allowed but no refunds will be made. No-shows will be billed the full registration fee.
