Who Should Attend the Membership Meeting?

The Partnership’s Annual Membership Meeting is restricted to Members in good-standing (contact our Membership Specialist, Jo Anna Davis, for questions regarding membership status: joanna@cpedv.org).

This Membership business meeting is designed to provide updates on Partnership activities, opportunities to shape our future directions with Board elections and policy priorities, spaces for critical conversations about issues affecting our field, and meaningful networking with peers from across the State.

Registering for the Membership Meeting:

Attendance at the Annual Membership Meeting is free of charge to Members in good standing.

Members planning to attend the Annual Membership Meeting must pre-register: registration link.

Financial Assistance for Members:

Members are encouraged to attend the pre-Conference Membership Meeting on September 12th as well as the ensuing two-day Conference (September 13th and 14th). As a benefit of your membership, Members receive discounted registration fees * for the Conference. In order to receive this discounted membership rate, Members must register using a Member registration code (obtained by contacting our Membership Specialist, Jo Anna Davis: joanna@cpedv.org).

In addition, another membership benefit is eligibility for travel stipends to the Annual Membership Meeting and Conference. To promote equity of access and attendance at these important events, the Partnership will award a limited number of travel stipends for Members traveling 100 or more miles. We will base our award decisions on regional representation with the goal to ensure that all regions are represented.  

To apply for a travel stipend, e-mail our Program Coordinator, Alicia Stonebreaker: alicia@cpedv.org. Write “Member Travel Stipend Request” in the subject line, and provide your: 

  • Name
  • Organization
  • City
  • Partnership Region
  • Estimated travel expenses
    • Note, we will not be able to reimburse for food / meals / per diem
    • Travel stipends will not cover Conference registration fees

The deadline to request Member travel stipends is July 31st. Awards will be made August 3rd.

Members-only: Voting

The Partnership will elect at-large Board members at the Annual Membership Meeting. Members in good standing for the 2011-12 Membership year are eligible to vote:

  • Each Level 1 & Level 2 organizational Member should designate one representative to vote
  • Level 3 individual Members are each permitted one vote
  • Level 4 Members are ineligible to vote

When Members register to attend the Annual Membership Meeting, they will be asked to provide the name of the designated voter.

Important Membership Dates: 

October 1, 2011 –
September 30, 2012		 Partnership’s 2011-12 Membership Year
December 1, 2011 Deadline (past) for 2011-12 Membership renewals
•  Note, if you neglected to renew by this deadline, then your membership has lapsed and you must apply again as a New Member
July 31, 2012 Last day for Members to submit requests for travel stipends
August 3, 2012 In order to vote in the Board elections conducted at the Membership Meeting, this is the final deadline for New Membership applications
•  Remember, this covers the remainder of Partnership’s 2011-12 Membership Year ending September 30, 2012 --> we are unable to pro-rate Membership dues
August 3, 2012 Notification of travel stipend awards to Members
August 10, 2012 Early-bird discounted Conference registration deadline
August 12, 2012 Last day for hotel reservations at special meeting rate
August 31, 2012 Event Registration Deadline: Last day to register for the Partnership’s Annual Membership Meeting and Statewide Domestic Violence Conference
