Conference Overview
The California State Information Security Office is proud
to present the 2007 Symposium entitled “Securing
California: Exploring Cyber Security Solutions for
California Government.” This year’s Symposium will
provide a forum for top-level executives to learn about
cyber security issues affecting their organizations,
and the lessons learned and solutions as discovered
through the personal experiences of several colleagues. Through this Symposium, we trust you will gain
invaluable information you can use to assist your staff
in resolving similar issues faced by your agency.
In addition to the fabulous morning keynote speakers,
several of your Executive Management colleagues
will provide a brief overview of a security initiative
that has been implemented in their agency which
has significantly improved their security program.
From these presentations, we hope you gain ideas or
methods for improving your own agency’s program.
Implementing similar or new initiatives within your
own agency may help significantly improve your
information security program.
The afternoon continues with a panel of industry experts
discussing emerging cyber challenges within the realm
of his or her field. We have also asked several Information
Security Officers to provide a brief description of a
security initiative that has strengthened their security
program.
We hope you will join us for this interactive session that
will provide you valuable information to help improve
your security program.
