The Capital Fellows Alumni Affiliate (CFAA)

The Capital Fellows Alumni Affiliate (CFAA) was founded in 2004. It continues to develop and support a strong and vibrant network of current and former Assembly, Executive, Judicial and Senate Fellows throughout California and across the nation. Generations of Fellows have found their lives and career paths changed by the experience, becoming leaders in both the public and private sectors. Comprised of leaders from all parts of our society and spanning the political spectrum, the Affiliate desires to enhance the experience of former Capital Fellows, creating an invaluable professional and social network to promote public service as a profession.

The Capital Fellows Alumni Affiliate is an alumni association for former Fellows fostering development through a devoted and connected community, helping create good public policy and ethical leadership.

More than 1,300 men and women have served as Capital Fellows. For six decades the Assembly, Executive, Judicial Administration and Senate Fellow programs have strengthened the institutional capacities and professionalism of state government, brought into state service hundreds who might not otherwise have had the chance, and provided experience and inspiration to Fellows who went on to great careers infused with the spirit of public service.
