The California Department of Consumer Affairs, California Office of Privacy Protection, State and Consumer Services Agency are holding the Cyber Safe California Summit 2008: Protecting Our Children, Safeguarding Our Privacy, and Securing Our Future March 4 – 5, 2008.
Join leaders from business, government, law enforcement, education, and community organizations for a two-day summit on cyber safety, privacy, and identity theft.
Day One features expert panels discussing current issues such as social networking sites, privacy challenges posed by new technologies, and medical identity theft.
Day Two features a series of workshops will provide practical information and guidance on topics of interest to consumers, business people, law enforcement, government, and higher education. Topics include protecting your home computer, Internet safety programs for schools, patient privacy rights, and payment card security.

More than 1,000 state, county and local decision makers, law enforcement officials, educators, business leaders, legal professionals and child safety advocates will gather to discuss cyber crime prevention and best practices. EXHIBIT PACKAGE
The Exhibitor Package includes admittance of (1) person to staff your exhibit, (1) 6' skirted display table, (1) chair, and all Summit materials. All additional exhibit staff must register as attendees.
The Exhibit Area will be located in the Academy Ballroom Foyer at the Marriott Burbank. Both Location assignment will be done on a first-come first serve basis and will be based on sponsorship level.
We are not using an Exhibit Services Company to minimize your costs. Therefore, all Sponsors who have an Exhibit Booth will be responsible for shipping their own Exhibit Booth Materials to/from the Hotel. Additionally, there will be no pipe and drape in the exhibit area.
Due to limited storage capabilities at the Marriott Burbank Exhibit Booth Materials may not arrive any earlier than Friday, February 29, 2008. Full shipping information will be included in your Confirmation Packet.
Confirmation Packets will be sent to Registered Exhibitors approximately 4 - 6 weeks prior to the Summit.

The Marriott Burbank Airport is offering a discounted group rate of $118 plus tax until February 11, 2008. To receive the group rate, mention you are attending the 2008 Cyber Safe California Conference. After February 11, 2008 overnight accommodations are based on availability at the prevailing rate.
