About the Workshops
These one-day workshops will feature:
- A review of integrated pest management (IPM) principles
- Hands-on demonstrations and tours of major pest problems around school buildings and grounds:
- LANDSCAPE IPM–Weeds in landscape and turf, yellowjackets, burrowing rodents
- STRUCTURAL IPM–Ants, cockroaches, rats, mice and birds; food service and storage area pests.
- LANDSCAPE IPM–Weeds in landscape and turf, yellowjackets, burrowing rodents
Who Should Attend
IPM coordinators; other district staff responsible for pest management such as administrators, maintenance and operations directors, facilities directors, groundskeepers, and custodians.
