Course Description:
This one day workshop examines the environmental and analytical chemistry of hazardous substances. Topics include basic chemical concepts, hazardous properties of chemicals, chemical reactions, and chemical classification. The class will focus on types of industrial waste streams and sampling procedures, with a chemistry overview.
