Workshops that address early education needs, including effective means of working with families, providers, and communities to strengthen quality, increase access to preschool, and enhance school readiness.

 

Early Mental Health…

Research-based and promising practices to address the social/emotional developmental needs of young children.

 

Family Support…

Strategies to support parents and caregivers in providing a foundation of security and safety for their young children, with an emphasis on strategies that build community and achieve results.

 

Health Access…

Lessons learned and challenges ahead to increase access to care that meets all the health needs of children and their families.

 

Special Needs…

Discussion of strategies to support children with special needs and their families, emphasizing best practices and collaborative approaches to service delivery and full inclusion.

 

Local Evaluation – Model Approaches and Recent Findings…

Innovative evaluation strategies, with special emphasis on approaches to meet the local evaluation demands of the new Statewide Evaluation Framework.

 

Communications/Community Relations…

Workshops focused on grassroots outreach and marketing, including how to engender greater support for programs serving children 0 – 5.
