Pre-Conference Institute
The Pre-Conference Institute is scheduled for Wednesday, May 21, 2008 from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. Registration and a continental breakfast will begin at 8 am. Please see
Pre-Conference Institute page for descriptions of the Institute sessions and the audience to whom they are targeted. Please register each person planning to attend by checking the appropriate box on the registration form. The registration fee of $95 covers food and meeting costs.
First 5 California Statewide Conference
The First 5 California Statewide Conference registration fee is
$200 per registrant for May 22 – 23, 2008. This fee includes two continental breakfasts, two lunches, refreshment breaks, a reception, admission to all general sessions and workshops, and all conference materials.
Payment
Full payment must accompany all registrations or be paid on-site prior to admittance into the conference. Exhibit space will not be reserved and/or set for unpaid exhibitors.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations received in writing by April 29, 2008 are subject to a
$25 processing fee. After that date, substitutions will be allowed, but no refunds will be made. No-shows will be billed the full registration fee. To cancel your registration, please mail your request to CSUS CCE Conference & Training Services (see mailing address at the top of this page).
Conference Confirmation
A confirmation letter will be mailed to all registrants who have submitted a completed registration form and payment. The letter will include directions and a map to the hotel. Individuals who register after April 29, 2008 may not receive directions/confirmation in time, so please register early!

A block of rooms has been reserved for conference participants. To receive the discounted room rate of $110 single/double occupancy (plus tax), reservations must be made by April 29, 2008. After that, overnight accommodations are based on availability at the hotel’s prevailing rate. Reservations can be made by contacting the hotel directly at (714) 750-8000 or (800) 228-9290. Please mention that you are attending the First 5 California Statewide Conference to receive the discounted room rate.
Hotel Parking
The Anaheim Marriott Hotel offers valet parking for $27.00 per day and self parking for $20 per day. Prices are subject to change without notification.

Taxi Cabs
Meter rate: $2.65 first half mile + $0.50 per additional half mile.
