Dear Homeland Security Professional:

On behalf of the California Governor’s Office of Homeland Security, I invite you to attend our third annual conference, entitled “Managing the Threats of Today and Tomorrow.”

Our annual conference will bring together homeland security partners from the local, state, federal, non-profit, and private sectors from throughout California in a single venue. Your participation in this conference is important to strengthen Homeland Security programs across California.

This year’s conference promises to be an interesting and informative event. We will have nationally known speakers to highlight current issues affecting homeland security. There will also be a number of workshops and sessions for sharing best practices and learning some of the technical aspects of our business. Most importantly, the conference is an opportunity to meet and interact with our homeland security partners and to hear from you on how we can better secure and prepare California.

The 2008 Annual Conference will be held at the Desert Springs JW Marriott in Palm Desert, California. Registration information can be found on the Governor’s Office of Homeland Security’s conference website at www.cce.csus.edu/homelandsecurity2008 or www.ohs.ca.gov.
