Paying for Classes (Admitted Students)Fees are due within 30 days of your registration date. An invoice will be mailed to your address on file.

Financial Aid Options (Admitted Students)
The College of Continuing Education is self-supported and unable to offer direct financial aid. Financial aid is available through the CSUS Financial Aid Office on campus for students who are admitted to the university. For further information, please visit the CSUS Financial Aid Office’s website.
Adding & Dropping Classes (Admitted Students)
If you want to drop an Academic Credit course, you may do so through your My Sac State Student Services Center on or before the specified deadlines listed in the chart below.

For questions or assistance regarding drops, contact the CCE Credit Registration Services phone line at 916/278-6984 from 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday - Friday.
After the above deadlines, drops will not be processed except for verified medical or emergency situations. Written verification of illness or accident MUST be submitted along with a letter of petition to drop to the CCE Credit Registration Services office in Napa Hall.
Dropping a course online or notifying the CCE Registration Services in writing of an intention to drop is solely the responsibility of the student. Failure to do so is considered an unauthorized withdrawal and will result in a “WU” grade.
How to Enroll (Non-Admitted Students)
Non-Admitted students can register in three ways:
Registration must be completed on or before the course registration date as shown in the chart below. Failure to comply with the deadlines will result in the assessment of a $25.00 late fee.

Paying for Classes (Non-Admitted Students)
Fees for non-admitted students must be paid at the time of registration.
Three convenient ways to make a payment:
Students who are not admitted to CSUS are not eligible to receive financial aid through the CSUS Financial Aid Office. Students can explore the option of taking out a private loan through the lender of their choice, but tuition must be paid up front and funds used to reimburse the student.

California State University, Sacramento’s Open University program allows you to attend regular University classes through the College of Continuing Education on a space available basis, without enrolling in the University. For more information or to download an Open University Add/Drop Form, please visit the Open University Website.
Refund Information for Academic Credit Courses
Note: The refund policy is established by the CSU Board of Trustees. If the College of Continuing Education cancels the class, all fees will be refunded automatically if eligible.
Complete the drop process as outlined for admitted students or non-admitted students on or before the specified deadlines. The amount refunded is based on the schedule below.

All refunds will be issued by a check made payable to the student. Personal checks require one month for clearance prior to processing refunds. Refund checks are processed within one to two weeks and mailed directly to the student.
Failure to complete the drop process is considered an unauthorized withdrawal, resulting in a “WU” grade.
Registration and Payment Confirmations for Academic Credit Courses
Once your registration and corresponding fees have been processed, your registration confirmation and payment receipt will be viewable at through your Student Services Center via My Sac State.
For instructions on how to create a Saclink username and password, please visit the Saclink website. If you are unsure of your Sac State ID #, please call the CCE Credit Registration Services phone line, 916/278-6984 during regular business hours.
Your registration is not complete until you have paid your fees. Without complete registration, you are not permitted to remain in class unless attendance is approved in advance by the Dean of the College of Continuing Education.
Grade Reports for Academic Courses
Grades are available through the Student Services Center at http://www.my.csus.edu approximately two to three weeks after completion of a course. The CCE Credit Registration Services department can provide a printed unofficial transcript for the current semester only.
Official transcripts for Academic Credit courses are available from the registrar’s office by contacting the Outgoing Transcripts Office at 916/278-5507 or at http://webapps1.csus.edu/admr/content/record/transcript.
Please allow two to four weeks for receipt of transcripts. Do not submit transcript requests with registration or parking fee payments.
Unofficial transcripts can be printed from the Student Services Center via My Sac State approximately two to three weeks after completion of a course.
