Orientation
Our staff and instructors want to ensure you have a smooth transition to our campus and to life in the United States. During orientation, we will help you become familiar with our university, the city of Sacramento and your fellow classmates. You will take a language assessment test to ensure appropriate level placement. You will also learn about academic expectations and student life, take a campus tour, and receive your student identification card (also known as OneCard).
Orientation is mandatory for all new students. Be sure you leave sufficient time for your commute and get plenty of rest.
Helpful tips:
- If you plan to use public transportation, visit Sacramento’s Regional Transit Trip Planner to help you plan your route.
- If you plan to drive: Purchase $12 weekly parking permit at Napa Hall front desk or pay $7 for a daily parking permit and park in Parking Structure II (for meetings on main campus).
- Refer to our campus map for building locations.
