Digital Media Literacy for Teachers

Overview

This course functions as an introduction to digital media production. It provides the opportunity to apply digital workflow theories to the creation of digital media productions for classroom use.

The course is divided into three parts: 1) an introduction to Digital Media Literacy, Emerging Technologies, and E-learning; 2) an introduction to the “Building Blocks” required for all quality Digital Media (text, images, animation, sound & video); and 3) the “hands-on” development of quality Digital Media Productions for use in the core curriculum.

Placer County Program

Overview

Sacramento State and our partners are committed to providing access to higher education. Thanks to a generous donation from an anonymous donor, qualified students may receive multiple scholarships, up to 15 units per semester, depending upon available funds when enrolling for Sacramento State in Placer County courses. Scholarships are limited to one course per student.
