Checklist

To apply to ELI at California State University, Sacramento, you must submit the following items:

• Copy of passport or legal document to show your date of birth and full legal name

• Completed ELI Application with planned session dates marked (please indicate the entire length of time you plan to study in ELI)

• $125 non-refundable application fee made out to CSUS

• Affidavit of Financial Support form

• Financial statement (e.g. bank statements, bank letter of guarantee, etc.) that show sufficient funds available for tuition and living expenses for the duration of your enrollment in the program. Estimate approximately $4150 per 8-week session.

If all above documents are in order, an I-20 form, (which will be used to obtain a student visa from a United States Consulate) is issued and express mailed to the students. Further instructions on how to obtain the visa will be outlined when the student receives their I-20 form.
