| Education and Innovation for Government Transformation
Overview
The next generation of successful California government leaders will be those who know how to embrace and implement positive government transformation and build cross-functional and interagency relationships. These relationships will be key building blocks for our future leaders. This program will expand the practical application of the skills required to be successful in today’s changing business climate. Leaders will be challenged to develop and adopt statewide best practices, create interagency solutions, and develop relationships to implement and sustain government transformation efforts.
Audience
Participants in the program are considered senior leaders and include the executives and upper level managers from the business and program branches of departments, as well as the executives and upper level managers from the Information Technology programs. Individuals responsible for strategic planning and policy setting across agency and departmental lines are ideal candidates for nomination. While enrollment is limited to staff with specific responsibilities rather than specific titles, staff in the following classifications or titles are likely participants: Exempt, CEA, AIO, CIO, DPM III, DPM IV, SSM III, and other managerial classifications.
We encourage enrollment from all program areas (business and information technology).
Nominations are accepted from mid July to mid September. To nominate an individual, please read the information on this page and click on the Nomination process link at the bottom of the page.
