Leadership for the Government Executive

LGE is an eight-month certificate program for executives and upper-level managers from the business, program, and information technology branches of California government. Ideal candidates include individuals responsible for strategic planning and policy setting across agency and department lines. LGE emphasizes enterprise-wide thinking by weaving state initiatives into the curriculum and creating a solid basis for discussion as participants focus on how to successfully lead California into the future. Participants learn to develop mission and vision statements for their organizations, create a service culture, develop effective organizational change models, and employ cutting-edge coaching and mentoring techniques and effective communication frameworks.

Information Security Leadership Academy Program

The Information Security Leadership Academy is a new certificate program developed though a collaborative partnership between the Office of Information Security and Privacy Protection, State of California, the Office of Communications and Information Technology, Sacramento County, and the College of Engineering and Computer Science, and College of Continuing Education at Sacramento State.
This program is designed for public and private sector security professionals and individuals in the information security field wanting to upgrade their skills and increase their effectiveness.
