Preparing Computer Settings
Java, Pop-Up Window and Cache Settings
For an optimal WebCT experience, modify your computer's settings by following these suggestions:
- To utilize the Chat feature in WebCT you will need to enable Java and pop-up windows on your computer. If these are disabled, your computer will not be able to open a "chat room." Many Internet Service Providers and Security Software automatically disable pop-up windows.
- If you do not have permissions to make these changes to your system at work, contact your local help desk or system administrator for assistance. If you need assistance with making these modifications to your personal computer, please contact our Online Help Desk.
