Female business leaders from across the Sacramento area attended the High-Powered Women Mixer on March 1.

The event was held at the local office of the Girl Scouts Heart of Central California on Elvas Avenue. It was designed as a way for women to gather without an agenda or awards. About 100 women attended the mixer, which was co-hosted by Linda Farley of Girl Scouts Heart of Central California.

Envisioned as an annual gathering, the first mixer was held last year at the Golden Pacific Bank headquarters. About 80 women attended that event. The inaugural mixer was organized by consultant Jane Einhorn, Virginia Varela of Golden Pacific Bank and Kathy McKim and Yen Marshall, both of whom previously worked for AT&T.
