American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Course
Designed for healthcare professionals, participants will learn: critical concepts of high-quality CPR; the AHA Chain of Survival; 1-rescuer and 2-rescuer CPR and AED; differences between rescue and bag-mask techniques for adult, child and infant; rescue breathing; choke relief; and CPR with advance airway. Simulated clinical scenarios and learning stations will provide hands-on training. An AHA BLS Instructor will assist with the completion of BLS skills practice and skills testing. A written exam will be given.
American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) Course
This Heartsaver CPR AED course is designed for anyone with limited to no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory or other requirements. Upon completion of this course, students receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR AED Course Completion Card that is valid for two years. During the course, an AHA Instructor conducts video-based lessons and works with students to complete their CPR and AED skills practice and testing.
American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course
This American Heart Association (AHA) instructor-led course is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED) for meeting job, regulatory or other requirements. Participants will learn basic treatment procedures. Upon completion of this course, participants will receive an AHA Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course completion card that is valid for two years.
