Sacramento State President Robert S. Nelsen used the occasion of Dr. Jenni Murphy’s major initiative to announce the new dean of the College of Continuing Education (CCE).

The announcement came on March 23 during the inaugural 2018 Summit on Educational Attainment for Working Age Adults at Sac State Downtown. Elected officials, community leaders, employers, educators and Dr. Murphy’s state and national counterparts came together to focus on working age adults (25 - 64) who have some college and training, but often not enough to move ahead in their jobs and careers.
