CTS Instructor Appointed by Governor Brown

Congratulations to Louise Stymeist, instructor in the Bachelor of Science in Career and Technical Studies (CTS) program, who was appointed by Governor Brown to the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

Stymeist has served as a coordinator in career technical preparation for the Sacramento City Unified School District since 2002 after serving as a school to work coordinator in the district from 2000 to 2002 and a resource teacher from 1996 to 1998. Stymeist was a regional occupational program teacher at Hiram Johnson High School in the Sacramento City Unified School District from 1998 to 2000. Her husband Joe Stymeist is also a graduate of CCE’s CTS program. Read more about Governor Brown’s appointments.
