Julie Davis-Jaffe has spent 25 years on employment services for youth, adults and dislocated workers. She manages the Sacramento Works America’s Job Centers as a workforce development manager at the Sacramento Employment and Training Agency (SETA) and provides staff development and training. She brings an extensive background in career coaching to CCE’s Workforce Development Professional Certificate and Apprenticeship programs.
Julie has industry knowledge of all aspects of workforce development systems, including creating procedures and training, evaluating and maintaining effective partners, and implementing new programs across demographics.
She brings over 20 years of workforce development experience that began with her role as a vocational rehabilitation counselor at Back-to-Work Rehabilitation in Yuba City. In 1997 she moved to SETA as an employment services specialist, making her way up the ladder to her current position as workforce development manager. Currently, she oversees the implementation of principles and practices of counseling, vocational guidance and occupational placement.
Julie is a Sacramento State alumna, graduating in 1991 with a degree in psychology and a minor in social work.
