Roberta Pickett joined Sacramento State in 2001 teaching in various management programs. She is currently a certified professional co-active coach and certified business coach with Roberta Pickett Coaching & Training.
Before opening her own business, she held leadership positions over a 25-year period with Sprint. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California and her master’s degree in organizational management from the University of Phoenix.
Roberta founded the Sacramento Coaches Association, a chapter of the International Coach Federation. She remains active in Rotary International, having served as assistant governor for Rotary District 5190 and president of Fair Oaks Rotary Club and of Amador Upcountry Rotary Club.
In addition to publishing her book, Hot, Sweaty, and Happy: Lessons Learned along the Trail, Roberta hosts the program Insights on Leadership & Life on TSPN-TV in Amador County.
