The Course Credit Service allows accredited non-profit educational organizations to offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for educational offerings, including courses, trainings, seminars, workshops and conferences.
What are CEUs?
Continuing Education Units (CEUs) were designed as a uniform unit of measurement which facilitates the accumulation and exchange of standardized information about individual participation in non-credit continuing education activity. The CEU may be used for the quantitative measurement, recording, reporting, accumulation, transfer and recognition of participation by adults in non-credit continuing education activities.
CEUs are awarded by Sacramento State, one of the 23 universities in the prestigious California State University system.
CEUs provide a permanent record of the participants’ educational accomplishments.
Transcripts may be obtained for personal use, including reporting to employers.
Please read the following prior to requesting CEUs
Registration agreement and payment must be received no later than two weeks following the last class meeting.
No refunds available.
If CEUs will be used for pay scale advancements, please check with your district office regarding acceptance of these units.
