The First Responder Fund at Sacramento State now offers a scholarship to assist with course fees for the EMT Program.

How to Apply 

The application period for Spring 2024 is now CLOSED. We will update this page with more information about future scholarship opportunities as soon as they are available.

Important Info:

  • This scholarship is intended for the June 2024 EMT classes.
  • If selected, recipients will have 2 weeks to accept the scholarship and pay the remaining balance of their course fees ($1,200) – confirmation and payment is due by May 6, 2024.
  • The scholarship award can be transferred to a September 2024 class if needed.

Thanks to generous donors, the First Responder Fund was able to award two $500 scholarships to students in the January 2023 EMT course and Paramedic Program.
