College, Careers & ‘Stingers Up!’

The Summer Academies for High School Students introduces teens to new experiences that just may plant an idea, perhaps a college major or a future career. Some students met Sacramento’s mayor, some found themselves in the midst of a simulated hacking incident and others learned multimedia skills and produced their first news videos. There’s nothing else like it in Sacramento!

Summer Session

Summer Session offers Sac State and visiting students the opportunity to take classes over the summer during two 6-week sessions and one 12 week session.

The short sessions allow students the flexibility to complete graduation requirements and advance toward degree goals while pursuing other interests over the summer.

Summer 2018 Campus Fees have been reduced from last year. For more information on these fees, please click here to visit the Bursar’s Office page.

“I was able to graduate a semester earlier than projected by taking classes over the summer.” – Feona Shandrew, Child Development
