The 2018 Summer Academies for High School Students is all about dreaming.
“Some of you want to be lawyers, some of you want to do engineering and robotics. Some are you are fashion designers,” Sacramento State President Robert S. Nelsen told high school students at a June orientation.”You get to start dreaming.”
See the individual academy description for cost and material fees. (All fees subject to change.) To sign up your student for more than one academy and get $50 off, please call the College of Continuing Education at (916) 278-4433, extension 2. The offer is limited to one student, two classes only.
The Summer Academies for High School Students introduces teens to new experiences that just may plant an idea, perhaps a college major or a future career. Some students met Sacramento’s mayor, some found themselves in the midst of a simulated hacking incident and others learned multimedia skills and produced their first news videos. There’s nothing else like it in Sacramento!
