Sacramento State’s Master of Science in Financial Analytics (MSFA) program prepares students with a strong foundation in investment analysis and portfolio management, as well as the practical knowledge required in today’s investment industry. The program incorporates a significant portion of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) curriculum, widely recognized as the industry standard for investment professionals. The core courses cover Financial Reporting and Analysis, Financial Institution Management, Corporate Finance, Equity Analysis, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Alternative Investment, Portfolio Management, and Global Financial Markets, with a culminating experience in Ethics and Finance.
