Jill Correll has been a Lead Lecture Instructor with the
Sacramento State EMT course since 2016. Jill began her
career in 1987 as a Firefighter/EMT for San Mateo Fire
Department. In 1990, Jill took a position as a
Firefighter/EMT with the Sacramento Fire Department until she
retired in 2006.
In 2012, Jay retired as a Battalion Chief for Sacramento City
Fire Department after 32 years as a career firefighter. ‘Chief,’
as he is respectfully called by his students, has always had an
interest in EMS and received his first certification as an EMT 2
in 1983 and later became a licensed Paramedic in 1993. In
addition, he is trained as a Certified Tactical Medic and has
been in EMS instruction for over 20 years.
Brad Hunt has worked as both an EMT and paramedic skills
instructor with the Sacramento State Prehospital Education
Program since January 2018. In 2019, Brad took on the position of
Lead Instructor in the EMT course. Brad started his career in
2002 with a private ambulance company in Stockton, California,
where he worked in the 911 system as an EMT for 3 years.
