Profile

Dr. Timothy Croisdale brought an extensive background in crime analysis when he returned to Sacramento State, this time as a professor in the Division of Criminal Justice. He started out as a graduate student in the university’s criminal justice program before heading to British Columbia to earn his doctorate degree in  criminology from Simon Fraser University.

Dr. Croisdale joined the Sacramento State faculty in 2008 and immediately expanded his full-time class load by teaching in the online Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, a degree completion program managed by the College of Continuing Education.

Dr. Croisdale spent many years as a researcher and data analyst in Canada and California. He has studied repeat offenders, analyzed and mapped crime data, tracked patterns in criminal behavior as well as examined ways to reduce and prevent crime.
