Roatán, Honduras (CM 96C)
Students who have demonstrated an interest in residential construction will have the opportunity to enroll in this unique 6-week summer course and travel to Roatán, Honduras for ten days to build a single-family home. This hands-on study abroad program allows students to experience a diverse culture and construction practices while building connections and expanding their professional network internationally, as well as developing important skills such as teamwork, communication, and problem-solving.
Payment
Cost: $2,487
Included in cost:
- 3 units towards CM 96C – Residential Construction Study Abroad
- International travel insurance
- In-country transportation: airport pick up and drop off and transportation from the hotel to the job site (and vice versa)
- Lodging
- Most meals: daily breakfast; 7 lunches; 7 dinners; water/juice/ice for 4 days on job site
